vi prego di leggere quanto nella mailing list organizzativa di Milliways 
per il CCC Camp.

Parrebbe che ci potrebbero essere il doppio dei partecipanti e quindi 
nessuna vendita pubblica, e milliways alla CCC Congress avrà i token per 
acquisire biglietti (i self-replicating), e darà priorità per chi 
contribuisce alle varie mansioni e task di gestione della loro embassy.

In merito, suggerirei di iniziare a fare la conta di chi siamo, può 
convenire che iniziamo a mettere su il pretix?

Io scriverei ai nostri contatti e amici CCC Camp per chiedergli, a nome 
di Italian Hacker Embassy, di potere avere un ticket token da 450 
biglietti (per ottenerne 50-100) e potere assicurarci ingressi alle brutte?

We need to talk about the camp. This will be a long email.

tl;dr: this mail is important. you might get fucked if you skip it.

I have talked - and keep talking - to various persons in the last
weeks and there are some updates.

Please keep this information milliways-confidential, so no tweeting
about this please.

First the dates and location. The camp will be from August 21-25 at
the Ziegeleipark Mildenberg. That's the same location as last time.
No, there is no webpage about it and don't expect any soon. You can
rely on this information though, its ccc internal and approved to be
passed on to milliways. :-)
We will be able to get on site earlier than that. I am looking into
setting the first foot on site around August 8 to deliver from the
Storage in Essen and "serious buildup" from August 15th where I hope
quite some people can join already (its the nicest time of the camp.
And you get a chance to build this up already. Good time also to angel
and make the overall ccc camp happen.)

Second of all there will most likely not be a public sale, everything
will go over (one time) vouchers. This means we need to plan properly,
everyone who wants to come should be on the voucher list till the GPN
which is May 30th-June 2nd.

This means there will be a massive shortage of tickets and we won't
get the amount of tickets that we usually are able to retrieve through
the old voucher system. This voucher system will be only used on the
camp as far as I know and that is due to the shortage of tickets which
will be at the same number as last time in 2015.
The numbers of the visitors on the congress have roughly doubled since
then.

So to speak out the ugly truth we will have to prioritise some people
over others - that just is the consequence out of the situation.

I will therefore prioritize people who commit to do something for
milliways on the camp and then people who have done something for
milliways in the past and then try to come up with something fair for
the rest of the vouchers. I do not feel well by this and are open to
other suggestions in how to proceed there but its the best solution we
have come up with so far.

To start with - make sure you are on the wiki page for the vouchers.
This is also true for sub-groups or attached villages - make sure to
have a list of people who want to join. If this list would go over
milliways or me - Please make sure to have this list till April 30. I
am looking at toorcamp ppl, to the rummery, to sigsegv and others.

That also means we look for commitments for setting up, running and
taking down milliways on the ccc camp.

Several people have committed themself already, there is several open
positions. If anyone of you would like to do that - awesome, please
write me a message.

So which positions are open? First we need some commits for orga and
then people who commit to help.
The help will mostly be needed on buildup and takedown. Also we will
need help running the milliways itself on the camp.

The team we will be having (at least) would be:
* Kitchen
making food. Talk to SuperQ to join, especially for people with
experience in professional catering :-D

* buildup / takedown
builds up milliways and makes it an awesome place - and takes it down
in the end. So far s3krit commited to lead this. This will need quite
some volunteers - and it would be good if you're available earlier.
Pro: its possibly the most fun part of milliways. Also you will build
a dome and maybe a kitchen shed. And / or: burn everything we don't
take away in the end.

* secretary
Last time we had a secretary - Shibumi and that rocked! He was the
communication point for every milliways and external call. Maybe we
should expand this to an infodesk alike team.

This is a "on camp job" but good when on site for the later buildup.

that's basically our main point of contact, especially around arrival
etc but maybe shibumi is in to describe what he did the last time.

* wiki maintainer

maintains the wiki from the content side and makes it usable and nice.
Includes potentially reorganizing the camp page.

Mostly a job for "before the buildup".

* it infrastructure

talk to tuxcoder when you have requests or want to join here.

* logistics

we will have some transport needs and we need ppl with driving
licences, esp for 7.5to. but also for 3.5to. We have to do a truck
drive from the storage in Essen to the site and several times forth
and back for several shopping or other transport needs. If you have
such a licence, are usually able to drive and maybe time through
buildup, on camp and takedown talk to mc.fly please. We need helpers
but also something like a teamlead / coordinator here.

* water

We need someone to look for the water and wastewater. Details on irc
or at mc.fly.

* power + network

We'll have internal power, something something 400V 63A and 10G
ideally. We look for someone who feels responsible to look to
distribute this into milliways as its needed. We have lotsa stuff but
someone needs to feel responsible for it.

* content

We might get into the position to make content in the dome. If we want
that we need someone who would keep an eye on that.

and maybe most importantly:
* art and decoration objects / projects / ideas

Milliways needs to be awesome. So if you want to make that happen,
build a large LED display, make a skybeamer, illuminate milliways in
lots of colors, build a black-in-black spaceship or other decoration
objects - here is your chance.

further planning

I plan to be on GPN and come to a final conclusion what we actually
want to do on ccc camp and how we gonna do that. So - mind also coming
there? Its a nice event in Karlsruhe, 30th May - 2nd June 2019, see

reply it to the list. I hope to be able to get somewhat a milliways
area (twi?)

Maybe we should organize a meeting, extended by a mumble on the GPN.

And well .... challenges ahead but we have mastered those in the past
and we will so in the future.

If you want to come to the camp you should start organizing. Add
yourself to the voucher list on the wiki until may 30th. Also yell
loudly "yes, i'm in, lets make an awesome rocking camp!" or something
more fitting and appropriate here on the list. Put your ideas in the
wiki and well, lets start moving.
